Awful console with an awful library

  • May 26, 2022

I have one and it’s convenient, every gamer should have a portable system imo it’s just cool to game in bed.

however I’d say it’s only for casual gamers, if you play games regularly it should be your secondary system at least.

If you like Nintendo's first party games then you will definitely like the Nintendo Switch. Besides Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (since you're interested in Mario Kart), there's major releases from most of their popular franchises. We got The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we got Super Mario Odyssey, several Pokémon games, Mario Party Superstars, Yoshi, Kirby, you name it.

The Switch also has plenty of popular indie games if you're into that. It has gotten more third party support than a Nintendo console probably has ever had (but the third party games don't run as well or look as good as they do on Xbox and PS of course).

You can play on your tv at home or use your Switch as a portable console.

That being said, there's a lot of selling points, but I would say that the main reason you ought to consider getting a Switch is if you are into Nintendo's first party games. You don't buy a Nintendo console to play third party games or to get a powerful system. You buy Nintendo consoles because you want to play their own unique, beloved, exclusive franchises.

Console is carried by Nintendo's first-party titles. If you want to play those, then yes. Otherwise, f*** no.

it’s cool, especially if you’ve been craving some handheld gaming. as a primary TV console tho it’s not gunna do you good enough

got a lot of exclusives that make the purchase super worth it tho. i’ve only played MH Rise, Metroid Dread, Pokemon Legends, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but every one of em is straight flames

I was so excited when my bro got one but everytime I borrow it I dont use it. Botw didnt catch me at all and stuff like Mario Kart and Smash only really catches me for a short time with friends.

I guess besides pokemon games there is no reason for me to get one

if you're into nintendo first party games like every other nintendo console than get it. But there are tons of third party games as well which isnt always guarantee on nintendo consoles
