I remember some people on KTT clowning Meek Mill for his sales while coming up with excuses for this album selling less wk.

Sounded like BTG 2 to me mostly.
Also with the album title being Punk, I went in with expectations that I shouldnt have. Was hoping for more live instruments and rock influence.

If you only listened once I’d give it another spin. It’s a pretty enjoyable project IMO, just frustrating for Thug standards. It’s like a great album that was invaded by some mid tracks

Going back to this and I think I was too harsh on it. Road Rage, Faces, Dropping Jewels one of Thug’s best runs

Same with Stupid, Recognize Real, Contagious

A lot of these songs really are SPECIAL

I liked it from the jump but I think I’m just now starting to love it. I think expectations really clouded my experience with it. Listening to it now and it really is so beautiful. Road Rage - Faces - Dropping Jewels - Fifth Day Dead

Yeah to say it’s straight up bad is lunacy. Too many great tracks on there. It’s got problems for sure, but it is veeery far from a bad album
