Spotify/Apple Music playlists are usually pretty terrible, TikTok recycles the same 3-5 "viral" songs, no chance I'm checking what's on Billboard.

    What's the answer here?

Its really a great way to get into new Music. I recently got into Metal through the site and found so many amazing artists. It also helps me to gage recommendations I get from Spotify and other people if i might like it.

Also an amazing filtering option to find specific music you might like.

I love that RYM rating is super harsh. A mindly above 3/5 star album might be my favourite of the year.

Yes it’s actually really good for finding niche stuff. Also the harsh rating makes it a lot better. Hate sites like imdb where almost every popular movie with a loyal fanbase hits a 8 easily.
