I'm not a gamer at all, the last game I played was GTA4 n before that San Andreas

Basically, the only games I ever liked and played are GTAs

Now I wanna buy a used ps3 just to beat GTA5 coz I ain't play that yet and then I plan on selling it again

How can I know the ps3 I wanna buy is in solid condition tho?? What do I ask about? I know NOTHING about video games n s***

Just make sure the disc drive works and the power is fine.

As far as I recall (Xbox owner) the PS3 had that yellow light of death stuff but that was fixed quickly.

Save up for the ps5 cuz it’ll have backwards compatibility

If you really only want to play this one game then get the ps3

Check all the button sensors
Make sure it runs right
Check the controller buttons

Get a PS4 if you see yourself getting another game in the future plus you could prolly buy its for a decent price now

cause if you buy the console first week, beat the game within 2 more, & try to sell it again with the OG packaging & label it as "like new" in the selling title, you would probably lose less than you would buying a ps3

Go on Craigslist and only do business with people who provide great pictures and can communicate like they did reasonably well in education and you'll be fine

Keep in mind those PlayStations double as BluRay/media players and media servers if you don't think you'll use the game function, but it sounds like you don't care about that

old dell servers, you can find them loaded with dual cpus and ram for cheap on offer up and craigslist

they make fast and reliable media servers once you install ubuntu or freenas

depends on the game should work with most tho, i’d definitely go with a lil newer single cpu model if your going to do a game server usually game servers run much better on single cpu model

i personally would never run old server hardware for a server though long term but just to f*** around with old hardware can be fun

you can get something far smaller with features like intel quick sync for media and faster cpu cores for a gaming server if your willing to spend $150 more on an 8th gen i3 build and the power use and heat output is 1/20th so long term you’ll save money in electricity

whatever you do don’t buy the original fat ps3 s*** will break down in less than a month
