How close do you think the USA is to getting a two tier healthcare system

Like where everyone pays into public but has the option to get private if they want.

Something similar to Australia

if we just had single payer wait times would be long.

a two tier health system would be far worse in terms of exasperating wait times than a single payer system, since private payers’ facilities would have far fewer people per facility, thus making wait times even worse for people who are in the public option

we are very far away from any sort of possibility of healthcare because of the sheer influence that the healthcare and insurance industry have on the united states through lobbying power

the US is the only country that allows insurance and prescription medication to advertise on daytime television

I believe he's certainly more of a moderate but he seems to be hinting towards having some progressive policies
