Why can't they let a native English speaker proofread their e-mail and just use an e-mail address that is a tiny bit more convincing? I feel like they could & should be doing a lot better.

people who aren't computer savvy like grandparents and what not can easily fall for s*** like this. Guess the same demographic that read headlines and assume they know what an entire article is about would fall for something like this too.

Of course. I've read headlines about this happening to non-computer savvy people, but I feel like they could improve their ROI a lot for a marginal improvement in effort & quality.

Any tips for scammers that want to improve their craft?

They purposely use poor grammar and spelling bc it weeds out people who are smart enough to realize it as a scam, leaving only people who are dumb enough to fall for whatever the scam prompts them to do (send money etc)

I was not talking about me scamming people! Unless you're just calling me a bum in general, of course. Then I misunderstood.

I haven't seen that. Just feel like with a little bit of effort, they could rake in a greater return but maybe they have their hands full as it is.
