Ugh I relate. I have curly hair and the detangling/washing/drying process is well, a process. I love being warm and clean but it always seems to tiring and I keep putting it off. It’s worse because curly hair shouldn’t really get washed more then twice a week which means I have an excuse to overexploit.

I got into the habit of soaking in a hot bath after work for an hour or two for my muscles and making myself wash my hair before I got out. It’s not a good use of time at all though.

Having showered in quite a few different places around the world, I’m glad that I live in a place where I’m able to take a shower with a running faucet, adjustable temp, relatively clean water and not smell. And not have to worry if there even is water available that day. But that’s just me.
