    Monky business

This makes the album too long imo

nah just did a rough estimate and it would only be like 10 minutes longer than regular JIK (36-37 mins)

would still be one of ye's shortest album apart from Ye

hands on is goat production wise but lyrically falls extremely short

JIK is fine the way it is the only bad song on it is Everything We Need.

We don’t need a Ye verse on UTG we don’t need all these songs that didn’t make it. This is what Ye wanted to give us.

JIK could’ve been great if he hadn’t announced the release date so early and just worked on it for another couple of months stress free. Like this track list would’ve been goated:

    1. Up From The Ashes (OG with Sunday Service choir from Dre version)
    2. Follow God feat. Pusha T
    3. On God
    4. Water (with an actual verse from Kanye and the Ant & Ty parts from Coachella version)
    5. LA Monster / Closed On Sunday (as one track because they’re similar)
    6. Wake The Dead
    7. God Is
    8. Selah (New York listening party version which has a much better take of the first verse)
    9. Glory
    10. Hands On
    11. Use This Gospel (with Ant doing the hook and a verse from Kanye along with the Clipse & Kenny G features)
    12. Jesus Is Lord (IMAX version)

and an overall rewrite of the lyrics to tone back the overly preachy parts

Hands On is actually one of the better songs on JIK. Though I’m not the biggest fan of Ye’s delivery at times (sounds like he’s reading off the paper)...but besides that, it’s pretty dope.
