3. she drops 2 singles afterwards that gave the masses a better idea of what she’s going for sonically: “bikini bottom” which was mid but promising. and “in ha mood”, which is genuinely a decent song so it blows up
4. EP is well-received, boy’s a liar remix drops shortly after and now she’s on the path to stardom
5. niggas start gassing everything she does in order to impress the hoes because it’s not cool to hate on her anymore
my main takeaway from all this is, that despite its relatively small size, the alt-black-y2k-hyper-girly online space’s influence on social media narratives is extremely underrated, and labels are 1000% taking notes on how to appeal to that crowd w/ their own artists
not a fan of the music but i just can’t bring myself to hate tbh. she’s just too charismatic
