I knew Lil Baby was going to blow up when he rapped about asking for consent and made it sound hard
For me it was over when he had a hit with a song called FREESTYLE
Marlo my dawg that's for sure
So many quotables in a 1min song & flow is insane, I'm sorry for you if u cant fw him
We like Kanye and K, you like Bobby and Whitney
I remember someone in KTT1 said he was never gonna make it cuz he has a gambling addiction lol
i can't lie baby got some weak ass beats but its palatable for the times of now IN HIS LANE OF MUSIC
I'm still baffled by it all, literally.
I remember he had my Dawg, Freestyle, No Help, Leaked, Okay, Sold Out Dates, Drip Too Hard & Yes Indeed?
BUT I don't see the appeal of him into mainstream culture meaning, I understand he has SINGLES that are fitted for the club scene but what is it that he's connecting to that grants him this much success??
Future is literally the blueprint he is thriving from but still...
AND the machine (Q.C.) that put Migos into mainstream backing Lil Baby and I'm still lost by the massive uprising?
someone help me out???
his music is catchy, even if you don't love it
& on top of music he had connections & real relationships with some of the biggest people in the industry. When you can easily speak to someone like Young Thug or P from QC about how you can go about it & get genuine advice from them about what to do and what not to do, it becomes way less of a guessing game in terms of knowing what steps to take.
most artists don't know anyone in the music industry.
