The bigger question is, why the organizer behind astroworld - live nation - is making huge profits and is still handeling major events for big artists

  • Even if the show was set up with ill intentions it wasn’t Travis sitting down setting that shi up lol

  • love this topic cus it immediately shows me how stupid you are based on your take

  • It was over blown if we being honest

I can remember there were literal videos of people claiming 40+ people died, and that the show was a ritualistic sacrifice

Yeah but that’s cause people just stand around at a Clairo concert

In video footage of the incident, Scott is seen continuing to perform despite chants from the crowd pleading for him to stop; observing at least one audience member had been hurt, then ordering security for a brief moment to "help, jump in real quick, keep going", only to continue with the rest of the show for the following hour; encouraging people to "get wild" and "crazy", despite an ambulance passing through the crowd that was pulling out lifeless bodies.

Niggas coming up with mad excuses in here like he didn't do this ^^

Lmaoo even if you wanna blame the people who physically set it up nigga he hired them it's his festival lmaooo

    This.

I was at a Travis concert years before Astro. Needed to take a piss but I couldn’t move. Crowd was packed like sardines in an auditorium and Trav was raging like a maniac knowing mfs were packed. Had to hold it in for an hour and a half, my nuts still hurt jus thinking about it.

Some fat nigga snuck on stage and Trav refused to let him walk out backstage. Threatened him that the only way he was getting off the stage was if he jumped into the crowd. Dude was yelling at him. Lil nigga was terrified. He managed to crowd surf but I’m pretty sure the crowd ended up dropping him halfway through.

I can tell you firsthand Travis doesn’t give a f*** about the crowd’s safety.

  • Wasn't that long ago, think back and recollect

because people only care for a minute

  • When in times where some insane s*** can happen and 3 days later it’ll be forgotten, just look at all the BS that’s going on in US politics right now

Because he very clearly wasn’t solely at fault

Also that weirdly racist r/FuckTravisScott subreddit probably made people realize they don’t want to be grouped alongside those freaks lol

Also if you’ve been to Rolling Loud (also a live nation festival) before, you’ve probably experienced something bordering that dangerous crowd crush

I went for my one and only time in 2021 and sincerely almost saw a girl die while Kodak Black was performing. He wasn’t even performing his hardest s*** either! It was just dork ass hypebeasts pushing to get as close as possible to the stage to get a video. Got to the point nobody could even control their movements and mfs were toppling forward and backwards on top of each other. If you fell and nobody helped you up there’s a very real chance you get suffocated

People can say “Travis shouldn’t take any blame”

But he was notorious for promoting insane reckless behavior at this shows.
His fans “raged” and broke down security barriers because he encouraged s*** like that. And he kept performing even after seeing ambulances driving in to the crowd.

He might not have been solely to blame for what went down , but he spent years creating that reckless concert culture that ended up leading to this . And then did a s***ty job by not stopping the show after seeing injuries in the crowd

Yeah. Hes definitely not at fault but hes a s***ty person with a concerning lack of emotion

  • Ambulances going through out the crowd? people standing on poles 10 feet away begging for him to stop and he acknowledges it? F*** it, lets keep raging!
