this has been on my mind lately. as a young thug fan there’s been several times over the years when he’s been hit with serious charges and I been thinking he’s going to jail, only for the charges to never be mentioned again.

Ex: On September 24, 2017, Thug was arrested in Brookhaven, Georgia on multiple d*** possession charges and possession of a firearm. Thug was released on bond on September 27, 2017.
On September 7, 2018, Thug was charged with possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone and marijuana. He's also charged with possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam, codeine (2 counts) and a firearm.

People can get decades in jail for these charges, but I’ve never seen these charges mentioned again, like they just got swept away or something.

    Here’s an example with Offset:
On April 23, 2019, Offset faced a felony charge for possession of three handguns and the possession of d**** from a previous arrest in July 2018.

I’ve never seen any outcome from this, how does a felon get away with getting caught with 3 guns and d****?

the more money you spend on a lawyer, the more effective your defense will be.

also i think a lot of judges take payoffs

yea seems to me like there gotta be a lot of judges taking money cause most of these cases never seem to even make it to the courtroom

they get political favors from the DAs who usually expect some kind of favor in return.

    Step 1: Be rich
Step 2: Be able to afford a good lawyer

Jury wanted that so much fun

  • Apr 8, 2020

even if a person is guilty, if the DA tells the police not to pursue a case, they can't.

Many people would get charges dropped if:
They had a great legal representation
    and/or
Some basic knowledge of the law

Poorer people can't do this because they don't know if their rights were violated or what the procedure is. And they don't have anyone behind them.

people take charges for them too. i know all of carti's charges were taken by the other dude in the car

  • Apr 8, 2020

Money and Resources. Charges aint necessarily dropped. The lawyers finesse the system for something better
