Hey OP so I used to suffer from SP too and I always found what helped me the most was to have the TV going at a low volume to where you can hear it but it doesn't interrupt your sleep. I don't why but that always seemed to make the SP go away. Just something you can try.
Thanks. My dad told me the same thing. I've tried having Netflix on my phone and watching till my eyes get tired and I fall asleep and that worked the other night.
I used to have this problem but I know that it's not real. I hear the whispers in my ear while I am in paralysis. I feel the touching, squeezing, etc. Once I came to the realization that it's not real it doesn't even bother me no more. I know I'm gonna get out of it
I used to get sleep paralysis so much that i got used to the scary monster watching me. Now when I'm in paralysis I'm fearless. Because i have no fear nothing comes to scare me anymore or rather my mind doesn't create all these scary ass figures in the dark. Funny how that works
You smoking weed? I couldn’t dream when I smoked but they came back once I stopped, it’s pretty common.
Nah im all "sober" no extras its weird
Sleep on ur side
No sleep on your stomach.
Surprised no one has said this but also if you fall back into sleep paralysis CLOSE your f***ing eyes and stay calm and it will go away on its own.
If you are paralyzed in your sleep AND you are darting your eyes around the room in terror touted just asking for crazy ass hallucinations to stir up.

Any history of black magic practice among your ancestor?. Chance is there was a demon attached and when the owner passed away it will look for a successor whether the person is willing or not
Maybe his house just haunted
I slept on both sides, my stomach, and my back, Sleep position doesn't matter lol

Coming from my superstitious culture it goes like when someone who engage in black magic typically they have a pact with a jinn/spirit. The pact doesn't end like a contract tho, if the person dies the spirit needs to be inherited. Most common the person would choose their successor, whether willingly or anonymously it doesn't matter. It can be anyone in their family. Children, grandkids, blood ties always. When it's decided the spirit will approach their successor, and this is where the "disturbance" part begins

Oh okay. Because in our culture many people believe sleep paralysis is tied to a jinn called "Karabasan". journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/1363461520909616
