My passion is art, I love designing clothes and making music, but I don't find myself motivated to do these things 100% of the time, what are some tips that u guys have to simply improve this, because it will not be solved, I don't think it's possible to be motivated 100% of the time unless you're a god.

    for me,

i just got tired of not living
the life that i've always wanted

we've all seen or heard stories
about how hard the greats work

eventually you have to decide if
you're willing to dedicate your life
    to mastering this thing...

    "there is a difference between
knowing the path and walking the path"

    hope that helped

going and seeing or listening to some really really good s*** that inspires you
honestly everyone goes through what you talking bout bro sometimes you have to put yourself in the zone. It's not good to force creativity, but stimulating it through other art always helps me.

ex: when I want to work on music but I don't feel like it or i'm not in the zone, i'll turn on some madlib and just get real inspired by that

this goes for clothes and other art too. I also make clothes and graphics and s*** and the best way to get myself motivated is to just look for some super sick source material or designs that spark ideas for me

This is how I was getting super motivated before, just in a rut right now. Normal, but frustrating, thanks for your advice brother.

I guess I just gotta do it, or consume art until I'm inspired again.

trust me I be in the same mind state as you sometimes but once I surround myself with creative s*** I feel more motivated

most def, I'm in design school, and because of summer and corona I have no creative peers or competition around me, def isn't helping, gotta rely on the internet.

what really helped me was venturing into new territory. For music and design, I started venturing into the obscure. Other cultures that had rabbit holes of music.

While looking for samples I found a blogsite that posted Japanese music a lot of it obscure, some pop, and it opened my eyes to completely new sounds and style of music.

damn near the same happened with designs. I just ventured off into obscure imagery and found really cool s*** that I wanted to play off of.

It's all about just venturing your mind into s*** and the internet is the greatest tool we have.

And I understand the competition with peers and s*** I feel that's a motivation factor as well, but you can still see what everyone is up to online and just keep yourself competitive by just watching.

Focus on your craft by creating small and achievable goals, desirable goals and best situation goals.
