My apologies if a thread like this doesn’t belong here, or already exists, but I didn’t see one, and I think that, since losers are becoming more of a sizable and influential group in society, they relate to politics more than one might think.

So basically, I want to know what KTT2 thinks about the loser problem and what can be done to solve it.
Even if one tries to tell themselves that loserdom is only a problem for the losers themselves, that simply isn’t true anymore.
losers contribute to growing mainstream misogyny, normalize pipelines to more extremist and dangerous ideologies (like fascism), further cement the isolation and alienation of much of the youth, which will only hurt the entire generation, and at their worst contribute to violent crime, like with the elliot rodger tragedy.

Basically, from my point of view, losers are causing real societal harm, and will continue to do so if the root cause of loserdom is not addressed and fixed. So what do YOU propose we do, KTT fam?

How are losers causing societal harm? They are just hanging around in their forums and whatever else they use and crying about their self defeating outlook on life.

If you are talking about the whole Tate movement, then we can have a conversation because this will definitely affect the upcoming years regarding gender issues

Yeah, I was thinking of the tate follower subgenre of loser primarily.
But I think that even the ones that are just spreading their ideas on forums and social media are still dangerous.
Had a classmate who was kinda awkward but overall a good guy fall down that rabbit hole. I didn’t really know him that well, so I couldn’t really step in, but dude ended up gross as hell.

I think the primary root of the problem is that people are fighting toxic masculinity the wrong way.
Many people seem to think that the best way to dismantle the toxic aspects of masculinity is to just do away with traditional masculinity in general, and demonize men that want to fit into that.
However, I think that those actions are only causing men who strongly identify with masculinity to feel targeted themselves, and that makes them want to either give in and start hating their own masculinity, which has its own set of problems, or fire back and over compensate their “manliness,” leading to people so desperate to hear that men can still be worthy and valid that they’re willing to take the words from a figure as dubious as tate.
“Men are trash” “feminism” is bad for men and women. It’s easy to say that someone would have to be incredibly childish and mailable to be radicalized from stuff like that, but many losers are roped in as children or teenagers.
I honestly believe that very few people, if any, are born just wanting to base their entire identity around fast cars and harems and s***. But many people end up wanting to overcompensate like that when they feel as though they aren’t enough, the world is against them, or both.
Basically, I think that a good place to start is just being less hostile toward men and re-examining how we view masculinity, but sadly I feel like that will be a hard sell, as I feel many people will see that as “giving them what they want.”

Men made society more accustomed for themselves to have more privilege than women. Women make a point to fight back and say this isn’t right, which is true, which is why feminism is not as ideologically twisted as Tate-like loser behaviour. Unfortunately, young men who don’t understand this fall for the Tate trap and get sucked off like leeches.

Misogyny has been a root aspect of society since humanity’s upbringing. The Abrahamic religions all consider God a man.

Maybe add a social development class in school that teaches kids how to handle social situations, it could also teach sexual education and detail how consent actually works?

losers are causing harm with their niche ideology. Most people don't stay one, but they get shuffled into other fascism pipelines.

the term loser on the surface simply describes ppl who are involuntarily celibate. p*** reduces a lot of young men's motivation to build sexual relations with woman because p*** is

    1) an easier solution to getting a nut off
    2) can be tailored to exactly what they are looking for
    3) links to 1 but its readily available. while it is not p***, the amount of sexualized content on social media is insane man. this leads one right down the path of p***ography.

so yea that is my take on what i think a part of it is. get people off p*** somehow and get them making IRL relationships and naturally the amount of involuntarily celibate people will decrease. It becomes a lot harder to hold loser like views when you are spending a lot of time in the company of a woman who is not family.
