at this old shop I was going to I used to let whoever cut my hair because they had no type of order, so dude was cutting my hair and proceeded to tell the head barber/shop owner “I almost passed the exam this time I think I’ll get it next time” and I’m sitting in the chair like needless to say old buddy f***ed up my hair. I was rocking the OBJ at the time and he pushed my left side in like crazy. I was looking in the mirror in my car like nah this can’t be true so I went home to ask my mom if it looked f***ed up and even she was like “your hair looks messed up” like do you know how f***ed your hair has to be for your own mother to say it’s f***ed I literally scheduled an appointment for the next day at another place my friend was trying to put me on to and had to cut all my hair off f*** that clown ass mf hope he’s homeless for doin me like that

Never happened with my regular guy. I have dreads so I just get a lining and taper. I was desperate one time my barber out of town and went to a new dude. This man had my mustache crooked af and tried to argue with me about it. The owner of the shop knew my s*** was f***ed up and just paid the barber out his pocket and let me bounce.

Glad you brought up this barber talk OP. I was gonna make a thread about pricing nowadays. Since when did niggas start charging $50 for a cut? I haven’t gotten one since Covid started and wanted to get one since I have a graduation to go to Wednesday and was blown by how much they were charging.

And he’s booked until September of next year smh. I went to school for the wrong s***.

Man that suck, some of these young barbers be tripping when it come to beards. Idk how the barbers are in your city but when it comes to that I’d look for any barbers in their 30s/40s. Those the ones that be doing me right when it come to fixing my beard.
