Lately I've been going through creative block, and it sucks because I have more time then ever and I want to put it good use. Can anyone bless me some tips on how to get out of it?
Think a lot of ppl feeling that right now
Don’t put too much pressure on yourself just do whatever you do because you enjoy it not to feel “productive” or something. Maybe try a different medium, get around nature & get your blood pumping if you can. Gotta let it come naturally or you’ll burn out & resent it
You’re a beatmaker? If so, I’d recommend listening to loops from producers you find dope to spark ideas for melodies.
If you’re an artist, I’d recommend to listen to other genres!

power through it, or do a "free play" day/session(s)
meaning i grab any vst, more so one of my favs, & just play it for hours without much thought.
then that way its just a fun no hold bars no pressure session, & something might come from it that is actually dope that you can start working off of.
or a do a day for some personal sound design. my own beat patterns, create loops etc. & save 'em for later for myself.
but mainly, free play is the best for me.
the answer is just work
if u make 5 beats 1 is gonna be good
then if u make 25 more beats like 3 will be good up to the new standard
when u get in album mode u get in album mode the only key is to make and make and make
Smoke weed
F***
Wash dishes
Go for a walk
Meditate
Nap
Basically go into theta state your subconscious will kick in. Like viagra for your brain.

Music is a convo. Listen to a song. What is it saying? Make a response. U can even start by taking a line from a song. It’s like starting your paragraph by repeating the question.
Once u run out of things to say, find another song.
