  • So for years I thought Wolf>Cherry Bomb but since this year I've been listening to Cherry Bomb a lot more. Don't get me wrong, there's some f***ing trash on here and the mix is still awful. I never listen to tracks like Run and Cherry Bomb but there's also some tracks on it I think are top 10 in Tyler's discography like 2Seater and Okaga. Wolf is similar, there's tracks I love like 48 and Lone but some tracks I never listen to like Awkward. Basically imo the good tracks on Wolf are worse than the good tracks on CB but the bad tracks on Wolf aren't as bad as the bad ones on CB. But there's also more misses on Wolf to me because there's more tracks

All this got me to thinking about how we compare albums. Do we judge them based on the amount of tracks we like vs amount we disliked on each album? By the quality of the highs on each album? Which album has less low points? The topics of the album and how the artist addressed them? Let me know what you guys think

Not to oversimplify it or seem like a d*** or anything but I just listen to each album and decide which one I like more.

Maybe I think about why I liked one more in hindsight but it's never the same answer.

Over all experience. The roll out. The hits. The world around the project. That’s what’ makes a good album

    By not comparing them

  • Dec 10, 2019

by seeing how the artist progresses with each album.

I judge them simply how much I personally like it as a whole.

Nothing else matters when it comes to my own feelings.
