Nothing worse than going to Disneyland or any theme park and the person you go with complains about everything

  • I’m the overly negative person unfortunately. I hate many people and things that make the world worse and I vocalize it

The key thing is not getting complacent with it. There are people in life where they are consumed with being right . Will say "if this bad thing happens I will say I told you so". So in their mind part of them manifest bad things happening to themselves or others so they can say they are right rather than wishing for the best for themselves or others. Have to find the humans that wish good for yourself and others. Those that truly care . If someone is too numb its just damaging

I agree. It’s a fine line especially with people you are close with but there is a limit to which you can help someone

I mean a lot of people its due to d*** abuse, trauma, overworked or life just beats their ass. That is why I try to get friends into positive task. Go on walks . Go to the gym. Get outside. find a way to keep the mind active and not just destroy with them

No for sure. I don’t want to diminish trauma from others. I think they’re two different issues being dealt with by both parties

You ever have a family member or someone in your life that you love dearly but they are consistently so negative and do so much complaining that it makes it difficult to be around them? How do you fix this dynamic without offending them?

We’re doing through grief so it’s an extra sensitive time but every time I’ve tried to speak on it with the people in question it just makes things worse, I’m usually pretty good at just accepting things are how they are but listening to negativity so often just becomes draining when i have my own head full of problems, any of you dealt with this before and how?

Oh I didnt read op it deals with grief. You got to listen some because they are coping but get them to cherish the time they had with the person and realize that in itself is a gift rather than live in what if they had more time

  • I'm really bad at setting boundaries so usually it just boils to the point where I snap and get into either a vocal or physical altercation

  • You don’t

been like that with every woman I dated longterm due to anxiety/depression. there’s nothing you can do bro, that’s just how they are. Better to keep your space and peace. it’s deadass a repetitive cycle that you can almost watch break down back into the negativity with triggers even if you manage to get them heavily on the staying positive side

This why I don't date b****es with obvious mental health issues.

Be FEINING to speedrun a relationship to hell.

As soon as I peep, I help them complete their objective...

all my girls were pill poppers

like 3-4 EVERY DAY for anxiety/depression managed to get one ex off the pills for like a solid 6 months, she was just living and smoking and she was mad happy and getting thicker. one trigger later and it was back to the pills and eventually a break up smdh. never again, it’s not worth it

I'm empathetic but the ROI on those situations is so low.

Factor in psychological profile, environment, family history, & the possibility that it's hereditary?

I was 15 watching my first GF go through a pill stack for anxiety/depression/anger my fault king, I was pre-destined to have hope for them but not anymore lmaooo

it’s DEFINITELY a combination of family/environment and it being hereditary. could almost see exactly which parent they got different problems from too. I come from a happy, loving, pretty large family so I was just green for a while enough heartbreaks later, I’m good now lmfao
