  • I'm tired of letting neckbeard sociopaths on reddit raise my blood pressure, but it's so frustrating to see these right wing echo chambers like PCM where people with the most lame, asinine racist strawmen getting upvoted and for some reason i've made it my personal duty to try to settle the score even though it's a waste of time

  • It's so rare on american social media to see a right winger get b**** slapped with an effective zinger, but maybe it's because they're incapable of feeling shame. I need them to know how much they suck even by their own toxic standards: they're cowardly, petty, obtuse, corny, homoromantic, ignorant of history, jealous of black men, hysterical, have no media literacy, an undeveloped theory of mind, etc. It just pisses me off that they feel this emboldened now

  • For me, meditation and realigning my focus on more productive actions I can take to better society. My dad's always trying to show me his bs right wing rage bait, I've learned to just ignore it and change the subject. It's not easy but your reactions are like air to fire, only fuels them

  • If you lose to the same trick and know it, you’ve adopted the mindset of a loser

    Do better

  • Spend less time online

I really only s*** post and troll on Ktt but outside of that I'm not really on my phone unless I'm making plans or coordinating plans with someone

  • Just pretend you’re talking to children

  • Three Meows Mór

Just pretend you’re talking to children

Pause you know what I mean

  • How you getting genuinely ragebaited on the internet? Do not take any of this internet s*** seriously. It’s all just entertainment

Any time I appear to be ragebaited or flustered I’m just doing it for a bit

  • You need to get a little mind over matter with it

We are talking about people who (in the past although... maybe not just the past...) would make a group recreational activity out of lynching black people
& they would all be smiling, even the kids who are now today's old people

It's not wrong to feel annoyed about bigotry but it's so prevalent it's almost hustling backwards to fall into the 'consuming ragebait content' trap

Deleted Twitter and Instagram. I might be missing on some social stuff but

  • On the weekend I don’t have a problem but when I’m at work I really try not to look at Twitter because it makes me feel grim

Twitter really does rot my brain and make me feels stressed out

  • revisit how u deal with things internally

This is key. Getting off these social media platforms that are designed to keep you addicted is one of the most liberating thing you can do. Connect with friends, family, and community. Not only will it benefit your mental health but it will better society as a whole the more people who do it

  • Well I know life is finite and I know my time and energy is better spent on things that actually help towards my goals

You sound like you have something to prove, but know that you gain nothing from bickering with lowlife trolls

  • Deleted Twitter, can’t believe how intentional the ragebait feeding algorithm is on there

  • just deleted doomscroll apps on my phone. the web versions seem to be tedious on purpose for the sake of getting you on that phone, which helps to disengage from ragebait

also accepted the fact there's a good chance that the ragebait you're seeing might be a bot to farm engagement

i've decided to stick to websites where i can have actual conversations with people without monetary gain

  • when it comes to this website tho there are some really weird, disrespectful, sick mfs who thrive on negativity and degeneracy on here. just gotta remember that you're better off making meaningful memories rather than arguing with some funky ass 30-year-olds that think a 10+ year age gap ain't weird

What's that HOV quote? "A wise man once told me don't argue with fools, cause people from a distance can't tell who is who"

  • I take things too seriously really easily especially if it contradicts the truth / my feelings, but I've learned that I DON'T have to reply to random idiots online and spend any of my time and energy going back and forth.

In other words, just get annoyed and keep it moving, they're not gonna be worth your time even if you feel like you gotta educate or "own" them

Self control and discipline, just say this is rage bait and move on with your day. Just have some self awareness to know what it is and its not worth your time

    Tbh I feel u op

Every day on twitter I have to see people defending ICE, Trump, Epstein, you name it. It is hard not to want to argue but it’s never worth it. Just block and move on

This is genuinely life changing advice. Even intelligent people look silly when they argue with someone who’s just blatantly wrong and stupid,
