I feel you. War is taxing on the soul. At some point you must remove yourself to preserve your own "identity."

i would just say piece of mind.If I have some kind of essence only God or a higher power would be in on that, anything else is a delusion i would be creating for myself. There is also always a debate on whether or not individual one on one battles are worth it and how

I personally feel an essence, a light, separate from my conscious mind. I like the word soul to describe it. But I'm with you on anything further than that being beyond my understanding (or any human), something which I enthusiastically accept.

Maybe it is a delusion. The inaccessible part of the mind, the subconscious of the subconscious. I love a good mystery.

Tbh, in my opinion, most aren't worth it at all. Yet it's hard to control and remind myself of this in the moment. I still have work to do and a lot to learn.

is me not wanting to talk to white people on a hip hop forum some type of oppression against your race?

No but it’s certainly not “inclusive”

Edit: and now that I think about it, that’s a highly reductive way to look at inclusivity from someone who claims to champion it

but tell me, what are you doing to make the world a better place? how are you advancing for a more inclusive society?

I never claimed to do anything of the sort, but the fact that you claim to be fighting for an “all inclusive society” by going to school for it, yet EXCLUDING people in the most simple and mundane part of life, leads me to be skeptical in your ability to bring about an “inclusive world” at all

    it’s like saying

“I don’t want to hear a woman’s opinion about woodworking”

but claiming to fight for an inclusive society for women

sure, you never did claim to do anything, but if you're going to chastise me for what i perceive as an attack on my contributions for an inclusive society, i am naturally going to ask; ok, well what is it that YOU are doing? you get me?

and i def get the point you're making, but i feel like you're a***ogizing the wrong things

firstly, i would never try to marginalize or oppress an entire group/race. even if i personally didn't like white people, i would still fight for their rights and represent them as zealously as i would a client of color. bc yes, you're right i cannot selectively choose who i extend my inclusivity to, if i am for equality and justice like i claim to be, i must fight for it for all, not some. which i do.

with that being said, i think there is a major difference between "i dont want to hear white peoples opinions on hip hop" vs "white people shouldnt comment on hip hop". or, “I don’t want to hear a woman’s opinion about woodworking” vs "women shouldnt have opinions on woodworking". if i was saying the latter, then yes i'd agree with you that i'm being a hypocrite

its a subtle distinction. i wasn't trying to gatekeep/prevent white people from discussing hip hop (your boy Kanye once tried to tho), i just personally am not interested in hearing white people's opinions in hip hop is all. yams said it best.

thats why i put that disclaimer in my bio; i got tired of seeing people responding to my posts in music sxn wit s*** about g eazy and logic. and i dont think me not wanting to see white hip hop opinions means i dont want an all inclusive society.

and bc we are not in a post-racial society, i dont think its necessarily wrong for POC to want designated spaces away from white people. its why you see BIPOC student unions & organizations on college campuses

It’s fine. I personally find it to be considerate.

It's existence i don't think is a delusion you have to be a seperate person on some level by virtue of existing seperately i think. But ascriptions to it are a delusion that is usually are created to align ourselves with power or what or what someone might think power find acceptable. i got to get back to work lol

Cis = on this side of
    Trans = across from

It was mostly used in Chemistry before the neosexual revolution

  • Oct 16, 2020

I’m guessing that it’s supposed to make specifying your pronouns a thing, so trans/non binary people don’t feel isolated when they have to do it, I don’t put my pronouns in my bio tho

I just don't get why people have a problem with being a he or a she. If you want to be called something else it's fine by me, but people who get angry when they get called sir or miss, have not enough problems in their lives
