I kind of have a debate within myself, DJ Premier I grew up with and bought every single Gang Start album. And he still puts out good beats from time to time. Being on big albums like Drakes and still relevant today but I feel like his best work behind him.

The Alchemist I feel hasn't fallen off his peak. Still consistent since the day he came out. Yeah he may have a few duds here and there, but so much good s*** comes out that it is unreal either way. Still getting major placement albums from Kendrick to Cole, I feel as a whole, he is better than Premier.

So that's it. The Alchemist is the GOAT,

Where do you have The Alchemist in your Greatest Producer of All Time List?

I personally think if people listened to even 10% of his production discog (the depth of his catalog is insane 2010-present alone) there would be no need for a debate. Man’s beats are like street halal food for your ears and the number of styles he’s perfected is ridiculous. Whereas most producers stick mostly to drumless loops or lean heavy on boom bap you truly don’t know what you’re going to get with an Al beat but what you do know is whatever it is is going to be incredible. Listen to We Gonna Make It, E Coli and Sensational Sherri and think that the same guy made all three of those. Hey Paul!
