The most common thing I've noticed is rappers' voice pitches gradually going higher throughout their careers. Example: kendrick, jay-z, Eminem, lil wayne, Nas, Uzi etc.
There's plenty more rappers whose voices have just changed and personally, it's been for the worse. I prefer their early career rap voices ie Lloyd Banks, Game.
The worst I can think of is Carti but I don't care for his music. Danny Brown is one guy who did the opposite with his voice. Young Thug too.

Idk but Cam'rons music has been ass as of late due to his voice
Crime Pays was the last album where he sounded somewhat coherent

It's just autotune
for who? lotta them has nothing to do with autotune. Wayne's voice maybe, but his got progressively worse in the 2010's to the point it was nearly intolerable.

Being a thug stan I hated wen he switched to that more polished voice around late 2016 but he’s the only one I think worked for the better. I never minded Wayne’s. And not really feeling it wit uzi
basically what im trying to say is, your rap voice is very important to me. it plays a huge part in what makes your music enjoyable.
kendrick is cool, but once his voice got higher, it was like

Yea that’s his most iconic voice era
I feel like Earl sounds different on every record, pretty much always for the better. Especially the jump between doris and IDLS where he sounds way more confident. ive never heard anyone else talk about this tho.
