If you treat unvaccinated people as equal, then you allow more people to feel less incentivized to get vaxed.

It's a direct path that leads to covid killing more people

Its sad how widespread this is

I think it's necessary. No one 'wants' to exclude anyone, but it is what it is.

You shouldn't allow them to have the same rights and access to the same resources that vaccinated people have. It can't be all good, kumbaya with vax and unvaxed people.

Whenever people try and pit like we're ostracizing the unvaccinated, my response is always "Well, almost 5 million people have died from covid, what the alternative?"

If we allowed it to be all good with the unvaccinated, more people wouldn't get vaccinated, then what? Allow covid to run rampant?

there are people who in contrast to antivaxxers cant get the vaccine because of medial conditions.
its incredibly selfish to not get the vax just to be contrarian and put other people at risk

People choosing to not get the vaccine isn't just contrarian.

    A Mad Ass Nigga

At this point it is what it is, if people don’t wanna get vaccinated to save themselves or others, f*** Em now if you’re unvaccinated for religion or health reasons that’s a different story. Mfs put all type of toxins in their body everyday and don’t know what’s in these pills they’re popping but wanna side eye the vaccine because some random nigga on Facebook said the vaccine is bad with only using one or two extreme cases while ignoring the majority reacting normally to the shot.

Relgious reasons are not valid here tbh, religious freedom doesn't give you the freedom to harm others.

I got unvaccinated friends not going to look down on them nor do I care. If you want to look down on them, give them a lecture or act like they are spreading mass death cool that doesn't involve me.

But it isnt all just misinformation................

Thats the point. I am talking official sources not random ass s***. Official sources that discourage people from rushing to get a vaccine.

    No it is misinformation lol

There are no health institutions discouraging anybody from getting the vax

There may be some scientific studies that have results which people misinterpret and use to come to an antivax conclusion, but that's something different

so you think all the information is universally positive on the vaccine

    even though

vaccinated can still get corona and spread it, Israel cases, natural immunity and continuous booster shots for however long

how can it still be called "rushing" to get the vaccine at this point? its not like this s*** just came out or is in early stages still

Ppl can still get it yes, but the chance is like 90% lower

There's no such thing as a 100% efficacy vaccine

And yes if we need boosters we need boosters, rather take a needle in my arm than have a never ending pandemic lol why is that even an argument?

yeah for some it's mistrust of government and bad experiences with the health system in general. that's from their lived experience so I empathise with them in that regard. especially minorities etc.

i’m way more pissed off at all the countries buying and hogging up the vaccines / patenting them so they can’t reach the global south easier.
those people are the one doing the real lasting damage across society, even tho antivaxxers get insufferable at times

can you name some of those reasons for not getting the vaccine that are not either stupid, religious or conspiracy theories?

you do understand that vaccinated people are as likely to spread the disease as unvaccinated people right? the only benefit us vaccinated people have is that we're less likely to have a hard time dealing with the disease.

therefore treating unvaccinated people as some "scum of society" is stupid and just makes no sense

there should not be any differences for both, as we all have to wear masks and protect others, regardless if we're vaccinated, or not.

this kind of "i'm vaccinated i can't spread the disease" mindset is worse than the "antivaxxer" mindset.

majority of unvaccinated people wear a mask, they just don't believe the vaccine is safe, where as most vaccinated people think that once they're vaccinated they can't spread the disease and refuse to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Cant be called rushing but the hesitancy makes logical sense from much of a population who doesn't know if they ever got covid, doesnt know if they have natural immunity, doesnt grasp the effects of long covid, wasnt properly tested this year or last
