I've never had a problem getting a job as I have probably worked at 14 or 15 different places since I turned 17 about 12 years ago, but I've always had trouble keeping up the mental fortitude to stay at these jobs either due to annoying bosses / coworkers, s***ty schedule, or just overall the job sucks ass.
At this point I wish I could just find a job that I actually liked that didn't suck cock but at this point i'm really just brainstorming what kind of niche content I can make to make money instead lol
What tips do you guys have for staying at jobs?
If it smells like s*** everywhere you go you may have just s*** yourself
i admit when I was younger I was ungrateful of a lot of the opportunities given to me I will admit that. I am more mature now and the reasoning these days more so is just either s***ty management or I just can't get a foot in the door in the field I have a degree in (marketing)
I’ve had two professional employers; one for 8 years and my current for 3. I am certainly not a believer of either party owing the other anything, so I stick around based on a combination of factors but primarily if things feel stagnant than I’m willing to move on. I do think other employers paradoxically value longevity, so there is value staying with companies at least for a bit

So is marketing catered to corporate jobs only or are there other paths?

Hence me talking about trying to come up with content ideas using what I learned!
But to be completely honest it seems like a lot of the marketing / SEO stuff these days can be easily automated by A.I.
I'm lazy as f*** and hate job hunting/interviews/the entire shindig
i hate both
Idk if the job pays decent and I don’t hate my coworkers/management then staying for awhile isn’t all too hard

This plus depending on what type of market it is. COVID was literally the most opportune time in probably a decade at least to switch jobs and have leverage. Its an employers market now definitely wouldn’t recommend seeking another employer unless it was out of necessity lol

I see. trying to do your own thing seems like a nice option if you can get it to work out for you, but frankly it seems difficult.
Learning how to harness AI would probably be a huge benefit whether you work alone or for someone else.
You could always just pivot careers too. You don’t have to be pigeonholed into a marketing type career (unless it’s your passion I guess)

Keep going, king
Ngl at 29 you should have an established career path at the very least by now. You shouldn’t still be job hopping around minimum wage gigs

What you bored of?! Idk I guess for me I fight off the grass is greener feeling. What makes me think another company going to be better or more exciting than this one?
I am compensated well with room to grow. It would definitely be different if my direct management sucked or the culture was s***
What's a "long time"?
Have never stayed at a job more than 2yrs, but tbf it's always because a better position w better pay showed up
But as i'm getting older i'm craving a bit more stabiltiy + interviews are getting out of control. I.e.: I don't need to go through 5 rounds for you to know if i'm the right candidate
