“when’s the last time I asked for some help that I couldn’t get from nobody else”

i interpret it as him speaking directly to someone, saying when’s the last time i asked you for something only you could give me. that’s about it really

I think it's ambiguous. it works both as a flex to say he hasn't been dependent on anyone else in a long time, but maybe on the flipside it means he could've used help but was too proud to ask because he's been moving so independent. maybe it's both of these at the same time.

I think it's a very male thing to be too proud to ask for help, while actually a degree of inter-dependence (not de-pendence) with friends and family is a very healthy and mutually beneficial thing.
