You ever lived alone?
Nah, I’m starting to look for my own place, but due to multiple reasons I haven’t really looked for it the past few years.
Housing market crazy rn that’s also a big reason. Definitely do not wanna live in a dorm and share my bathroom and stuff
Need a b****

Try it out or just get an apartment or sum it’s lit. I know I’m complaining.
Hope your issues get resolved too
It’s great. Being in your crib naked not worrying about anyone, going out and coming back whenever you want >>>
The one thing that was hard for me to adjust to when I first got my crib, was how much groceries I’d buy. Growing up in an African household with 3 other siblings, my parents always cooked, and bought groceries in bulk. So when I finally got my crib, I was doing the same thing for the first 6 months.
Found myself having to throw out a lot of groceries because it would go bad. It made me realize, even though I consider myself a foodie, I don’t eat a lot when I’m by myself. Usually just once or twice a day, and I’m good. I was buying so much plantains, n yams as if I had a whole family to feed, and wouldn’t even be able to get through half em of before they’d start to overripe.

If you have to be on FaceTime or Discord or let’s say in contact with other people 24/7 you have to find the problem why you cannot be alone. Otherwise you’ll never get used to it, ignoring the underlying issue

One thing people don’t tell you, unless you got a lot of money saved up, or help from your parents, it takes a long ass time to furnish your crib, exactly how you envision it. I left my living room completely empty for the first year n a half of living in my crib. I have relatively expensive taste compared to the rest of my family, and I was against getting “place holder” furniture. I could’ve balled out at Walmart, Target, Wayfair etc to furnish it, but at the time I was obsessed with furniture from Article I ended up compromising and went the IKEA route
