I'm trying to lock in and get a new job. But easily distracted.
I'm deleting apps off my phone and trying to build a schedule.
any other advice to really lock in?
Get off the innanet/social media for a week.
Boom!
You already above 99.9% of people.
I think doing small things will eventually lead you to lock in for the rest of the day. If you keep doing that for days and days, you will therefore lock in for the rest of your life.
Start by consistently making your bed in the morning, it's quite hard sometimes, but that's how you build consistency, and by doing such tasks, it'll help you to tackle other things.
Be a list man, create small lists like do this and do that, and tick it off by memory or by using an app, that forms a habit of locking in eventually.
You got this OP; I'm always rooting for you.
Get off social media is the only way.

there's also a way to set the color settings on your phone to black anf white or gray scale which also helps supposedly
meditating can help I think tbh, even if it’s just 15 minutes a day
Locking in requires you to sit down and think about the problem(s) you are trying to solve then creating a 24/7 schedule around how you will go about solving that problem. So every single minute of the day you are keying in on the solution.
If you are not following the schedule, you are not locked in
