StephanieI've been struggling with feelings of loneliness lately and realized that I don't really have any friends outside of work acquaintances or online relationships. Those things are appreciated, but they're not the same thing as having someone to talk to in real life. How do y'all manage to reach out to people once everyone has their own lives?
Can't say I've done any of this myself, but...
If you have a hobby or interest, see if there's a community for it in your area. You can also get into new hobbies and interests.
Conventions are also great events/places to talk to people.

Nov 22, 2019I've been content with my own time, realized I prefer spending time by myself over the last few years. Kind of over the bar/party thing unless it's for a drum & bass night.
If you produce music you can meet people locally who also produce. Just post on local messageboards/Facebook pages.
Volunteering is also a great way to meet people. I've gotten a few numbers while volunteering, but making deep meaningful relationships takes work and a couple months time.

Going at any age of like 5 til maybe mid 20’s you’re guaranteed to have best friends for the whole trip. You first meet in the club, then find stuff to do with them throughout the day, then hangout after the club drunk and getting pizza at 3 am, then when the cruise is over you’re all sad you never going to see them again
Believe it or not, there’s about 2 people who live where I live though I met from the last one I went in. One girl I was interested in who got a boyfriend shortly after I actually ran into at a club not to long ago in town haha and another guy who lives close, but I never really hit him up after. I have most of the people I befriended on social media and interact sometimes.

Glad i atleast have a girlfriend now. We play video games and I watch wrestling with her so she’s my best friend. I still keep plenty of space though so it’s not like I need to see her all the time even though I can lol but it’s nice.

Real ones know. Literally going to the same place everyday for 5-6 days in a row, you’re bound to make friends with a bunch of people.
