I’m a coon for not wanting a word to have power over us?? I’m a coon for tryna get us to unite and focus on the future as black people instead of getting tripped up over a past we can’t change?? Aight then, fine, go head and keep letting urself get derailed over a word

Lemme just say this... wait one sec... just a second...

you can do all of that... AND hold people accountable for using words not meant for their pasty tongues

Just because I do not like my friend Timothy saying nigga, does not mean I am not pushing for everything you have mentioned... out of all the words Timothy can formulate and converse... why does it have to be nigga? So many words man

He loves rap music thus wants to help rappers.
Also since when does helping black rappers translate to helping black people.

    They not black people?

He has also helped Detroit multiple times. Guess some of the people he helped were black?

During Revival he tried to do more, but it all backfired like crazy.

We can unite, move forward whilst other races don't get passes for saying the n word those 2 realities aren't mutually exclusive. Look at South Africa, they're trying their best to overcome the lasting effects of apartheid but nobody has the right to use the k-word. (some will physically harm/kill a white person for saying it). that doesn't mean they're not better than the word.

You have the right to not want Timothy to say it, matter of fact we should all be educating these white people, but we have tried time and time again and as a black man I’m ready to focus on other things to help my race achieve. Sleepers gon keep on sleeping but I ain’t gonna stay in the bed tryna wake em up

Our reaction to the N word is a part of the rhetoric they gon keep using to try and hold us back though.

His point makes 0 sense, we’ve reclaimed the word for ourselves, we’ve turned a negative destructive word into something positive

How’s demanding respect & policing white people/POC from using a word deep rooted in our culture holding black people back ?

People just be saying anything to sound woke I swear
