Last album felt forced & rushed but Islah is a special album. Its trap tettering on pop. The song structure and production mixed with Gates penchant for melody....it was a much different album then what the mixtape lead up led me to expect but it was chocolate fulla hits.
Kevin Gates is the prototype for rappers like Da Baby & NBA Youngboy.

He needs to drop again in 2020 & reassert his genius
