It’s genuinely great music. You listen to his pop contemporaries and the distance is there. Sure it’s not as hard hitting as trilogy but the quality is still there. If you don’t like pop music, it probably won’t click for you, but if you do like pop music it’s pretty amazing stuff.

That album was literally just expensive sci-fi production over the same depressed love lyrics he's wrote 20 times before.
It was a nice concept but overall the album was empty and the sound/corny manchild sci-fi superhero aesthetic has been overdone by him.

yeah maybe he’s not, like r&b canon-wise… but his falsetto is goated imo and compared to ppl with his star power, he’s one of the best vocally, but yeah im not an expert
