i do too and its one of the only occasions where kendrick didn't completely take over the song, cudi held his own on that s***

but given the history of the solo dolo og song and what it means in the cudi community it should've been a solo song all along.

also while i like beez its still kinda pointless on the album ig

I agree and I think he just wanted to let RZA do his thing on beez remember at first indicud was supposed to be like Cudis 2001 with a bunch of rap legends on it like ye,hov,50,Lloyd banks etc

  • But I guess he had to make a better 2001

I feel like SF is best listened to as one piece, I hardly ever listen to just a song from it I have to listen to it all at once.

Still below indicud for me tho but it’s a dope project

Like a cudi short movie that fits within the motm soundscape mixed with daft punk

TBIHTDYN is still a top tier cudi song

  • Jun 10, 2020

going to the ceremony and TBIHTDYN are some of my fav cudi songs the rest isnt really in rotation anymore tbh
    still a good project

well first you have the holy trinity MOTM 1, 2 & PPDS

then right after theres Satellite Flight for me personally

great EP that made me check for Cudi again after the underwhelming Indicud

then he lost me completely with speedin bullet and won me back over AGAIN with one of the greatest albums of the recent years PP&DS

    Cudder discog really a rollercoaster

That's always a tough one for me to rank. I got into Cudi with the first MOTM, never really listened to AKNC much when i was younger so i don't really have nostalgic feelings towards that tape as much as some of y'all might have. It's great though, but not among my fav Cudi projects.

I'd say it's a toss up between AKNC & Satellite Flight. It depends what mood i'm in i guess

The MOTM albums & PPDS reign supreme for me though, That i am sure of.

Listening to MOTM and it never fails to make me cry. This album means so much to me wish i couldn't relate so much to this album years later but i still relate

I feel that, I hate ranking albums usually I just rank on what I’m feeling at the time. But I’m younger then most cudi stans I would assume lmao, I’m 18 and didn’t get into cudi till 2016 (my freshman year) wish I could listen to motm1 and 2 again for the first time. That’s when I was getting into my stoner phase too the timing was like perfect. Glad I had cudis music through Highschool

It's the perfect time to be listening to Cudi because when u get older you really start to feel more and more of what he's talking about and he def writes in a relateable type of way. He do really be sounding like some wise soul trying to guide us, or like some other poster just said to me in another thread, like the big brother we never had

    He's such a goat

That was me who said that haha. But yeah definitely gets more relatable/understandable as you get older. Honestly kinda the same with nirvana too, I remember just thinking their music was cool and now understanding the bigger message is dope asf
