Canned can go longer especially if stored certain way
But really you shouldnt go pass an expiration date if youre not down bad or stranded
But also dont overbuy and it shouldnt be an issue to begin with

It scares me, for dairy. I keep an eye out for mold in bread too. But usually I eat my s*** before the time comes.
