At first I was with OP but after consideration he just might be the greatest of the last generation on a creative level.

Blueprint is better than both albums bro, all three are classics but let’s not deny all that Blueprint is. And Kendrick doesn’t have a song as good Heart of The City.

    Reasonable Doubt too

Kendrick's definitely the last truly revolutionary rapper if we being real. No ones been able to make anthems like "alright" which has become the theme song for protest

I guess what folks are saying is no one has dropped projects as impactful as Kenny. Not a lot of artist have made social/poltical records that charted.

That doesn't matter, though lol. I don't need every Kendrick album to be a classic, that's y'all. One day, he will drop an album that won't be seen as that and then what? Y'all think that'll end his career or ruin his legacy in any way? No.

Every Drake album isn't a classic. Every Drake song isn't great but that doesn't matter because his legacy is already established. All he can do at this point is continue to build up his catalog and solidify his legacy by continuing to give the game moments with his music that we'll all remember when he eventually isn't doing this anymore.

Kendrick gets PRAISED for not dropping any music and remaining inactive but if any of his peers did that, they'd get criticized and that's the truth lol.

I don't even know why I'm getting attacked like his own fans haven't been crying for new music for years now. They WISH he was more active so this isn't coming from just anywhere lol.

Friendly reminder that Jay dropped 13 albums in 9 years:

    Reasonable Doubt (1996)
    Vol 1 (1997)
    Vol 2 (1998)
    Vol 3 (1999)
    The Dynasty (2000)
    The Blueprint (2001)
    Jay-Z: Unplugged (2001)
The Best of Both Worlds (2002)
    The Blueprint 2 (2002)
    The Blueprint 2.1 (2003)
    The Black Album (2003)
    Unfinished Business (2004)
    Collision Course (2004)

In the past 9 years Kendrick has dropped 5 albums:

    Good Kid MAAD City (2012)
    To Pimp a Butterfly (2015)
    Untitled Unmastered (2016)
    DAMN. (2017)
    Black Panther Soundtrack (2018)

Black Panther Soundtrack doesn't count imo.

It's that kinda impact that makes a rapper great tho. Not a lot of rappers can make records that aren't intended to be politically charged and achieve that.

This only applies to people who don’t have a discography of:

    Section.80
    good kid, m.A.A.d. City
    To Pimp a Butterfly
    untitled unmastered
    DAMN.
    & the Black Panther Soundtrack

Kendrick is the exception, not the rule
