Never really got into Monae. The theatrics outside of the music always made it seem kinda corny to me.

I do mess with her as an actress but I just never really felt her music like that

Last Train To Paris has as much impact if not more then MBDTF.

MBDTF was made for the critics specifically.

That Dirty Money album really solidified the rap/R&B merging that was going on at the moment. Some great songwriting, great features and production, great use of autotune.

I'd rather listen to Paris then MBDTF anyday of the week.
