Damn idk why I thought his album was number 1 on Apple Music

Given all the internet hype you would’ve expected him to hit number 1 easily

I’m an old man fam. 26

I’m just not apart of this always disgruntled and upset by every single thing whiny generation.

The fact that carti took chances and stuck to what he wanted to do, made me like it even more.

He is a alternative-cult artist so it’s good that y’all don’t like him imo. He isn’t for yall.

With that being said, this album is another cult classic.

Btw, Not even worried about y’all bad reviews at all cause some of the best cult movies have some of the worst IMDb rating when it first came out. Y’all armchair critics get it wrong way more then you get it right.

Pseudo alternative. The “y’all” that you’re speaking to is carti’s fan base lol. Alternative for normies

This is really an insane L though, doesn’t matter how you feel about Carti or the album. The label is probably melting down

Why would the label melt down? They didn’t even invest that much in this project if we being real, outside of the producers and features. He didn’t put out any singles for this album, so they didn’t have to politic to get him played, no tour so none of those politics either. Pretty much this album is guaranteed to profit as long as it sells over 100k first week.

I mean I’m sure they’re not gonna lose money but they probably had high hopes and put together the whole Iggy thing for promo which could have had some politics involved coordinating with her team

You can pretend to be “different” and “edgy” all you want.

The fact of the matter is:

Willfully ignorant people like you are the reason why all these trendy artists like Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and whatever Baby artist you come up with next, continues to put out monotonous half-assed albums that are nothing more than a focus-tested corporate cash grab.

Look no further than the cover art to see the amount of effort that went into this lazy hour long album with no artistic value. Boring repetitive beats with the most surface level boring vocals I’ve ever ever heard on a hyped album. Every song sounds so unbearably similar with no reason to ever listen to them again.

But the bass is mixed real loud bro 👍🏻 Good music

I’m sure you’ll enjoy the deluxe version next week where he will steal more of your time for extra money and streaming numbers.

    Capitalism ruined rap music
