I'm including his commentary work for the UFC. He hasn't been good at that in like 15 years if he ever eas. Was never a good standup comedian. Was a fun host on Fear Factor.

By the time you hit Trump 1 it's clear he's a reactionary idiot who makes anyone who listens to him dumber

Nope his commentary is always ahead of his cohosts when it comes to ufc they ll be saying stupid s*** about the fighter who’s getting their ass beat “tiring out the opponent” and he ll have to correct them with “I disagree I think he’s just getting rocked!”

There are the rare nights where he gets too high and goes quiet for fights at a time and looks like he’s fighting to hold it together during the interview with the winners tho

I been following this nigga since the beginning. So proud of you Mouse. 🥹

I be wondering the exact moment s*** like this go from “nigga we the next roc a fella” or whatever to “nigga what happened to my rap career” lol

  • Classique

always terrible comedian and he was good at UFC commentary up until like 2019 or so when every new champ was the GOAT and he had to let everyone know he thinks romero beat whittakher

the bigger issue with UFC commentary is DC and dom cruz if it was still him and goldie or like bas rutten or brian stann along with anik rogan would be better but DC is s*** head and cruz is annoying

Dom definitely tries more than DC. And both more than Rogan. Rogan is useless.

Stann was amazing. Best they ever had. Randy Couture did a few that were good.

His cohosts? Jon Anik and DC? Literally the three stooges

  • TAXI

What a random and rare pic. Never seen this before

Who’s the guy on the far left & the guy in the middle between fab & Joe?

Far left is Ken "Duro" Ifill and dude between Joe and Fab is Skane Dolla.

Him and Nore I got crazy respect for

  • I do wonder how old their average listeners are. Whenever they talk about an artist album it someone in their 30s or older. I don’t remember they play someone in their early 20s.

as long as they can keep it up long enough to sell it to someone else it’ll probably be good

I can't believe they'll even get it off the ground. Trying to make a social media basically is not the move, they might as well link up with S

  • He definitely paved the way. I remember back in the 2017-2020 era every old rapper was mad as hell at his takes and would use "podcaster" as a drag. Now 85% of them niggas got pods of their own lol

  • Benny Boy

Only rapper that had to beef with s*** like "Amalgam Digital". Do you think anyone ever made money signing that guy lol

Only whoever owns the masters to Pump It Up

  • Lord187x

I always wanted Joe to win, he is one of my favorite rappers. And he consistently fumbling bags like Slaughterhouse and Shady deal, when you think he is almost there, he self destructs.

I'm glad he found his lane even tho it wasn't rapping. He deserved it after a grueling come up.

Gotta give it to him because at one point it looked like he was gonna self destruct again with the whole R&M fall out but it worked out

If he can get the niggas who sub to him on patreon + a fraction of the niggas on here/reddit/all the assorted twitter pages that post clips of his s*** to tap in I think its a success lol

And its imo moreso about it existing over the next 10-15 years for some random mf not even affiliated with joe to get on there and get a following and make it a “thing”

I think they’re too late it’s already “communities” established on other forums. Doubt they really move

    Worth the watch.

Joe Budden and Ian Schwartzman sat down with Forbes to discuss retaining creative and financial independence in the podcasting industry.

They also talk about early podcasting deal structures, their direct-to-consumer monetization strategy, and the development of their proprietary community platform, acommunity.com.

Are you still independent if you take a bag from Spotify?

all the other apps & media that exist & people's short attention spans gonna make it a hard sell is all i'm saying

  • Charlamagne Tha God & Joe Budden both rank in the Top 20 of Forbes' list of the Highest-Paid Podcasters of 2026

Real. Got big into Joe Budden and Slaughterhouse in HS. 5'9 still one of my favs to this day too

Was always sad Slaughterhouse never really materialized. Their first 2 mixtapes were fire, then it kinda went downhill from there with them trying to chase the bag lol.

  • I haven’t listen much to Joe since the split with Rory and Mal but what those three had together during what I’d consider peak JBP was incredible.

Joe deserves all the success and praise for changing the hip-hop media landscape.

    @KIR

    luv...

  • he sold out his independent product to gambling companies like his other entertainment peers did after the Spotify deal fell through while doubling his direct profits off his consumer with a s***tier product and false promises delivered via patreon

or did they not mention it from that angle?
