The discussion been had but it was an award for Nas legacy and the fact they f***ed up so bad by never giving him one through his career

Imagine if Alfredo was dropping around the time period when Nas was dropping classics, it would’ve got overlooked.

I get the confusion and maybe you could argue it was unfair to Gibbs and Alc but it kind of is what it is, because Nas deserves a Grammy more than Freddie and if he got one before Nas it would be just as unfair. Just a bad situation and a bad award show as far as hip hop

Nas is a bigger name than Freddie and everyone else who was nominated (Jay Elec, Royce, and D Smoke) plus Nas had never won it before

But alchemist deserve that award also.... i was rooting for him , not so much for gibbs :)
