i think it’s pretty obvious when something is a classic because it’s release is like a big moment and people don’t shut the f*** up about it for years. at this point die lit has been completely overshadowed by wlr in any carti discussion and i don’t think any songs were that big besides shoota and maybe rip and long time. it’s a great album but definitely not a classic

lowkey all of carti's albums are gonna be held in super high regard by this generation in the future just because of periodic cultural relevance. maybe not classics in the traditional sense necessarily but idk how anyone could argue against most his albums - or at least his singles - are gonna be remembered as classics because of relevance within the generation
