Personally, I don't really know how to do it, don't think my beats are quite there yet, and also have this surreal fear that maybe I'll sell the next Power or Hotline Bling to some random dude for 20 bucks.

just make sure you have them sign a contract where you get rights and royalties and you'll be fine. if you sell beats without that then you'd have to worry. you can usually find contracts for cheap online

I always say u can always make a better beat u shouldn't hold on to your beats or put one beat on a pedestal. you should be confident enough that every beat you make can be someones next hit song
