    DJ Khaled - Father of Asahd (May 17, 2019) - 136,000 - ~54 minutes long
    DJ Khaled - Khaled Khaled (April 30, 2021) - 93,000 - ~54 minutes long

    J. Cole - KOD (April 20, 2018) - 397,000 - ~42 minutes long
    J. Cole - The Off Season (May 14, 2021) - 288,000 - ~39 minutes long

I'm sure there are other examples but it seems like a shift is happening here. Thoughts?

I don't see how that would affect music consumption outside maybe tour bundles. But those don't count anymore anyway I think.

But to be honest, that Cole one makes sense cuz it’s 12 songs so kod would’ve done the same without bundles. Those Khaled numbers tho

I feel like Father of Asahd was less notable than the new one. I guess he was just coasting off hype from Grateful. The new one has the more impressive feature list for sure.

It impacts music consumption in a variety of ways.

Music is entertainment that is enjoyed outside. On your way to work, at the gym, etc.

With covid, these things have been until recently pretty much closed, which pits music in direct competition with other forms of entertainment.
