A Mad Ass NiggaI guess it’s the superiority that make this site think it’s not a form of social media lol. Everything you can do on “real” social media you can do on here for the most part. Niggas had groups mfs ah go video chat and kik with strangers, mfs have linked up on numerous occasions. Mfs tried to start some basketball s*** in the life sxn in like 2014, niggas getting close on a personal level with each other, exchanging “real” social media accounts and phone numbers and everything. Like b ktt is social media lol.
Nobody on this thread is feigning superiority though. It's just a matter of preference. Forums are more fun and more "old internet" anyway. Anonymity makes it more fun and lets people be more honest as well. Everything turns into an ego game when your real name and picture is attached to everything you post.

Your experience is based off what you engage with for the most part. I for the most stick to sports, music and regular twitter debates so that’s what I be seeingt and I enjoy it.

not having to fight the monster that is trying to maximize your time spent on the app is huge
sure you can basically tune it to your favor, but I just have a distaste of the entire attention economy ethos of most SMs

This site does feel superior when social media is the topic lol we do have dudes that feel like they’re high and mighty because they don’t use tiktok and twitter. I don’t agree with the last part.
