How long do you foresee this market being terrible for used cars?
No idea, it depends when the supply chain recovers-- COVID, chip shortage, etc. Could be by the end of the summer, could be mid-2023. Could be never.

Yeah, hopefully that changes soon. Might need to get a car soon and don't have too much money rn, so hoping it ends somewhat soon
can we also mention that the car is just flat out ugly?
Not gonna lie, I never liked that generation of Celica from a styling standpoint. I respect them tho

I'm in the same predicament lol
how is automatic an L
It's an old school Slushbox auto, saps power and is slow to respond.
Until you drive a manual, you won't understand the drastic difference in character a car can have with an auto vs manual

Never getting better, lol
😂😂
I think driving stick is fun but 99% of time i value covenience when I’m driving
I drive manual everyday, both of them are manual.
There's nothing inconvenient about it, even in traffic jams. You get used to it, it becomes muscle memory , you don't even think about it.

prices are probably gonna go down a decent amount by late 2022 but still gonna be a while before it actually returns back to "normal"

When was it normal? The last time I bought a car was 2018
61 incidents bro that s*** is a hotwheels at this point
Holy s*** I'm crying
61 accidents LOLLLLLLL
Bro what, that's like some Looney Toons s*** lmfao
These car prices ain’t never getting better. I’ve been hearing that all the time only for s*** to get more and more expensive. Just lookout for a good deal and strike at the right moment or whatever. Don’t hold your breath lol
I wanted a celica last year for my first car. Found this one that was a beauty and garage kept but my folks said it wasn’t worth it. Got a civic instead that I hate
anything less than 5K i’d just buy straight cash
i’m currently looking to buy something 9k+ rn with a pretty good down payment
I didn't want to pay for the Carfax but the free report has 61 incidents on it it's a Toyota though it'll still run
has to be a typo you can’t crash a car 61 damn times that b**** would be nothing but a steering wheel by this point

lmaoo same, even a used 09 honda accord with 150k miles is upwards of 8k in my area, that’s downright stupid

The cheapest running most dogged out civic and accord cost 3k minimum.
These are OLD cars too, this is why I recommend saturn to people wanting a cheap reliable car. They cost 1/3 of the price.

I am used to it. Automatic is still more convenient esp on slopes
