Yeah, brushing first because you’ll get majority of the s*** that will come out. Then, flossing gets in between the teeth that you couldn’t reach from brushing. Mouth wash to finish off and flush out everything you flossed.
You aren’t supposed to use water after mouth wash for 30 mins.
Used to brush first too, but apparently flossing first is better because it loosens the food particles, allowing you to reach them with your brush. Makes sense to me, you're also possibly putting nasty pieces of food on your clean teeth if you're brushing and then flossing
Every day.
I used to do it pretty irregular, so a pro-tip: Put the floss pack beside your shampoo in the shower and you won’t forget it

didnt know the 30 min mouth wash part, i be rinsing with water after cause i thought fluoride was bad to ingest due to reading fb moms post about fluoride in our water when i was like 12 and just never looked into it
Usually floss first with a waterpik, brush teeth for 2 mins and brush tongue. You don’t need mouthwash, think it does more harm than good in the long run.
I also felt it made me lazier and used mouthwash as a quick substitute in my earlier years
Surprised it took so long for someone to mention this. That’s one of those products that really can change your perception on life that isn’t too expensive
Im flossing regularly but all these waterpik cosigns making me want to cop one.
Whats the difference with a regular floss?

why do you think using a mouthwash does more damage in the long run? especially if using an alcohol-free fluoride based one? genuinely curious tbh bc i dont know nothing lol

waterpik is key. of the 3 (brush pik floss), I find that it has biggest impact on getting everything clean.
one to two times a day, s*** pisses me off if i got something stuck between my teeth makes my tongue wanting to knock them out

They’re relatively inexpensive I think I paid around $40 for mine (some are cheaper but mine has a water tank) and it just makes flossing less of a chore and more of a rewarding task. Like someone else said it feels great having all the food and crumbs falling out between your teeth and it doesn’t make my gums bleed which I had a tendency of doing when I flossed the traditional way. I’d highly recommend it forreal
I usually brush then water pik then floss.
Would do that but I think using water or anything afterwards kinda reduces the intended effects of toothpaste

ima change up the order and see if I notice anything

It kills all bacteria and your teeth need the good bacteria to function well over the course of time. Alcohol-free is better, plus there’s less of a shocking taste but I’d opt out of it entirely
literally never, why should I
imagine standing in the mirror for ten minutes making your gums bleed with a piece of string
If your gums are bleeding after you floss, go see the dentist lol
Not gonna cap I started flossing every morning at the top of this year. My gums used to bleed almost every time I brushed my teeth. Now I don’t remember the last time that happened to me
How long do y’all floss
Like 2-3 minutes it doesn’t take long bro, especially if you do it often. I’ve found that some days I floss and no residue ends up on the string

better to learn late than never
