    year of the rat

like not that often at all tbh but I also have pretty poor dream recall in general

Ive seen ppl say that writing in a dream journal as soon as you wake up helps improve that, if you want to

I used to have them every night. Multiple, and horrible, in retrospect i think i had a burnout during that time

  • I don't have nightmares, only weird dreams if I sleep in certain postures

  • Sep 16, 2024

ive only had 1 and its the first dream I can ever remember
was just a jump scare really
unless you count getting woken up by a snake jumping at you as a nightmare

  • Sep 16, 2024

Had a nightmare the feds raided the crib 😨

  • Sep 16, 2024

hoping i don't have any tn

  • Sep 16, 2024

    never tbh

  • Yeah I have them at least 5 nights a week, unfortunately. It’s a combination of taking melatonin & having generalized anxiety, I think.

Last night’s nightmare involved driving a car & killing someone & being interviewed after. Absolute ASS

A couple of nights before I dreamed about someone robbing my place but for some reason I couldn’t get through to 911. Also, awful.

Smoking weed used to keep that s*** at bay but now weed makes me super anxious

  • I get reminded of MOTM1 Cudi everytime

Idk if you still post, but what did you do that made you stop having them? I think I may have job burnout as well, that would check out. It’s getting pretty bad out here man, I am getting sick of these s***s, it puts a damper on my next day

update on this, been doing audio recordings of my dreams that I remember as soon as I wake up and then doing interpretations of them on some Jungian s***

had my first lucid dream by hazard a few weeks ago and almost immediately after becoming lucid I began to be pursued by what I can only describe as a demonic being. it was like suddenly i didn't belong in that space with that level of awareness. as soon as it caught me tho, it was nothing but sunlight and then I woke up

still chewing on that one. i basically never have nightmares, this the closest to a nightmare I had in years, maybe more than a decade even

  • Idk if I'd call them nightmares but I'm dreaming about them a lot since my 2 dogs died. Sometimes I'm dreaming about them still being alive, sometimes I'm dreaming and it's from their perspective. One of them got hit by a car and once I dreamt that I was him. Was running until something hit me from behind and started flying through the air, woke up right when I hit the ground Was pissed at my subconscious for making me dream that s***

    yeah im still here
i also used to smoke weed during that time. still do btw,idk if that was the cause. my problem was caused by huge anxiety over feeling guilty and lost. there was something i had to do but it caused me great shame and anxiety. eventually i decided to send an email. then i found out it wasnt as bad as it was and the nightmares stopped. i think, its been a long time now. i might have my timelines mixed up. but it was def due to shame and anxiety.

  • Had them every night for months till a few days ago
