ur not gonna get a general statistic by looking on ktt of all places, do research honestly. also, from personal experience being poor is not a choice
How could you ever get a ratio or percentage of that.
Thats why im asking you niggas for your insight
Im tryna learn something
Yea bro my parents totally chose to not be able to buy me new clothes when I was little
if all these children are growing up to work in child labour to put food on the table, i don't think being poor is a choice.

Whoever that nigga is im sure hes a lame and can suck my whole d***
If you are "poor by choice" by being in the club constantly or at FootLocker or Dolce & Gabbana stores, then chances are you're not really poor;
You're mishandling an adequate wage/income and have poor sense of priorities opposed to actually being poor
In my experience, those who are poor (for the most part) don't even have those luxuries to shop at places like FootLocker or "be in the club" or would even consider going to Dolce and Gabana

tbh in a situation where im dead broke and the only thing that keeps me from putting that barrel in my mouth is hitting a nike store once or twice a month, then f*** that. the only way thats gonna change is literally if I find a better job with a better check, generally it doesn't have much to do with being frugal
albeit last time I was sweating about personal finance I reckoned I literally only have to cut on fast food and clothes and ill save like a third of my monthly expenses which is absolutely nuts

The poor people being referred to itt are people who live with their family and don't pay rent/bills moreso than people who are actually poor
This idea that being frugal is the solution for poverty is wild
