expound on this a bit more?
how hard was it to learn coding and all?
you went to college?
how’s the job market?
Moved to a new state just before turning 19, and wanted to do something different with my life. Wanted to teach myself how to code so I found a couple different resources for free online learning. Ended up sticking with FreeCodeCamp.
After about a month of learning, found out about this workforce development program called Year Up. Basically they do free technical training for everyone in the program for six months, and then they put you in an internship based on your skills / interests.
So I was at that internship for six months and they decided to hire me at the end. So by the time I was 20 I was employed as a developer. Didn't do any college classes, although I got about a years worth of college credits from the program I was in through ACE.
The job market can be good depending on where you are located. I'm in the DMV area so there are hella government contracting type of gigs, and a good mix of opportunities from private businesses as well. Would definitely recommend the latter. Rn people are still hiring throughout this whole corona situation, not as much as before though.
you are only 24?
this is the second most shocking find for me in ktt after finding out NLC is only 22
yea, just been on this site forever lol. think I was 17 when I started posting.
Forex trading is a scam. Pretty much just a pyramid scheme. One of my boys does this as a side hustle. Will lure u in with promises of big money and then sell u books and guides about how to make money forex trading that are useless.
Forex in itself is not a scam
Trader bros selling u s*** is a scam
Can yall mid 25-29 yr old niggas enlighten me on yalls life

Reasons I outlined above
If you hustle you can possibly make good money
Just be prepared to be broke for mad long if you don’t inherit a book from someone
It’s even more difficult when people don’t really go to advisors anymore; robo-investing is the wave. Only boomers trust a CFA
So getting a CFA not worth it?
Deadass? Like D1?

27 here.
Honestly 25-27 have been my favorite years. I’m wise, mature, make rational decisions, and I’m dating around.
Everything depends on your location, job, and education probably. But I’ve enjoyed my late 20’s. This will be the prime years of my life.

Much blessings. I just thought about this the other day but how has the corona virus f***ed up your recruiting of college level athletes.
People's senior year recruitment hopes got f***ed because of this.
Are you gonna hold try outs or just trust you can get the athletes you need especially because your at a D2.

Recruits have been signed already, which is good. Maybe look to add a JUCO kid over the next month or so.
All coaches are relying on video scouts at this point. There probably won’t be AAU or on campus recruiting this summer so everyone is fighting the same battle.
In my case, I’m looking to get a new job this upcoming season. So I may be f***ed. All college athletic department budgets will struggle this year due to the loss of March madness. Even the big schools like Michigan State, Dayton, Illinois will all take hits. Which ultimately will effect their staff budget (which might lead to people getting let go) and it effects recruiting budgets.
It’s a mess.
25, Correctional Officer.
I was in hiring process for Police but Covid put that on hold.
28 - Data A***yst
Breh what this career about ? As in what goes down really

Part of it is managers need reports so you gotta get the data they require and make it easy to understand
Majority of the time it's alotta data cleansing and fixing up other people's mess. Pretty boring but pays well
