the mentality that it's someone elses issue because we'll be dead before we see the worst of it is inconsiderate, lazy and trash,

plus in most of our lifetimes, barring our untimely deaths we are seeing, and will continue to see the negative effects of certain parts of society collapsing and our isolation from each other and being pitted against each other

Learn practical skills. Start building with wood as a hobby while lumber is still being mass produced. Start a small garden along your windowsill while it’s easy to purchase various types of seeds and saplings. Learn to forage for berries and other edible plants. Learn the basics of raising chicken or purchase livestock yourself if you have the means to. These are skills vital to the human experience that have been forgotten by the vast majority of the westernized world. Don’t let Natural Selection grasp your neck with her brutal but fair claws when the time comes that Kroger can no longer stock her shelves.
