During the pandemi lovato, there were national protesting organizations/networjs that had to keep contact and social media was one of the main ways to do that.

Hell social media is why some of these police brutality cases even went viral and got these cacs in jail. Back in the 2000s cops was shooting niggas 1000 times for thinking a wallet was a gun and they got acquitted for that. Imagine if someone caught that on camera and put it on social media.

In its late stage capitalism form, social media is horrible I agree whole heartedly. But social media itself is just a tool like anything else.
